The International Strawberry Symposium takes place every four years. Known as the “Olympics” of the strawberry world, it stands as the highest-level strawberry event in the world. Following the 7th session in Beijing in 2012, this is the second time that the International Strawberry Symposium has been held in China.

This symposium was co-organized by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Centered around the theme “One Strawberry, One World,” it attracted more than 800 experts, scholars and guests from 26 countries and regions across six continents. They got together over strawberries, discussed green development and explored a future path for the industry through the bridge of cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
